Argentina Tjk Cup Stakes Took Place

Trained by Correa Aranha Jose Luiz, Night War (War Command-Nada Oscura/Interprete) won the Jockey Club of Turkey Stakes under Fernandes Goncalves Francisco on 17 December.

The winner clocked 1:09.33 in this 1200-meter turf contest in the 10-horse field. Earthling (Il Campione-Seras Estrella/Interprete) took the lead after the start and came to the last 200-meter with plenty in hand but could not deny Night War and finished 2nd. Blufi (South Kissing-Dal Briole/Dali Fitz) finished strong to take 3rd place and Triunfo Celeste (Cima De Triomphe-Cala Celeste/Orpen) finished 4th.

As in many TJK races held abroad, our country was represented at a high level in this important race held in Argentina. The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Buenos Aires Şefik Vural Altay watched this important race at the San Isidro Racecourse and presented the award to the owner of the winning horse.
